Since she was 16 years old, Annalize has started fixing her name to in some of the most famous restaurants in the world. She began her career in her native New Zealand, at Logan Brown in Wellington. She then traveled to work in some of Europe’s finest kitchens, including 2 Michelin-starred venues, The Ledbury in London and Mugaritz in Spain, and 3 Michelin-starred restaurants Bras and Le Meurice by Alain Ducasse in France. After that, she spent five years alongside Peter Gilmore at one of Australia’s most upscale restaurants, Quay
Annalize headed to the Moroccan Sahara running a Numero 7 pop-up restaurant before returning to Sydney to join the team behind ACME. In 2016, she opened her own bar in Sydney, Bruce’s Bar, before leaving town for a quieter country life in Tasmania’s Hon Valley. Until recently, Analiese worked at Hobart Restaurant Franklin, earned a couple of hats for foundation and attracted Epicureans from all over the world. Annalize has written a book about her experiences of how to cook, hunt and hunt wild things at the bottom of the world and is currently still living her wild adventure in the Tasmanian countryside.
