Inspector Sonia Smith said, Queensland Police officers who speak Hindi and Punjabi are waiting at an office in Cairns to be contacted from India via WhatsApp or online about where to find Rajwinder Singh, 38.
Singh was a nurse working in Innisfail, south of Cairns, when the body of 24-year-old Tuya Cordingley was found at Wangti Beach on Monday, October 22, 2018.

She had gone to the beach, north of Cairns, to walk her dog the day before.
Police said Singh flew from Cairns to Sydney on the day Cordingley’s body was found and left for India the next day.
The reward is the largest in Queensland history and is unique in that it does not search for evidence that solves a crime and leads to a successful trial. Instead, the money is provided for information leading only to the suspect’s whereabouts and arrest.
Police Minister Mark Ryan agreed to the reward and was confident that people knew where Singh could be found.
“We know that people know this person, they know where he is and we are asking these people to do the right thing,” Ryan said.
“Now, there are a million reasons why there are a billion eyes around the world to help us achieve justice,” he added.
Deputy Police Commissioner Tracy Lindford said investigators believed Singh remained in India. Eyewitnesses appealed to India’s 1.4 billion people to come forward and “give some comfort to the family who are missing Toyah”.
Smith said three Queensland investigators are already in India with Indian authorities in the investigation.
