where should a 5-year-old passenger be seated if they are the only passenger in the vehicle?
Use of safety seats
It is recommended that children up to the age of ten years be restrained in appropriate safety seats, according to the age and body dimensions.
We make sure to follow 3 steps when securing children in safety seats:
1. The safety seat is suitable for the child’s generation and body dimensions
2. Install the safety seat on the vehicle seat according to the product instructions
3. Correctly attaching the child to the safety seat
The child may not be placed in a safety seat or on a booster seat opposite an active air cushion.
Until at least the age of 13, it is recommended that children be seated with a seat belt in the back seat of the vehicle.
The safest place to seat children up to the age of 13 is in the middle rear seat.
