Rugby league football, commonly known as just rugby league or simply league, football, footy or rugby is a full-contact sport played by two teams of thirteen players on a rectangular field measuring 68 metres (75 yards) wide and 112–122 metres (122 to 133 yards) long with H shaped posts at both ends of the field. A further variation for ambulatory disabled players, Physical disability rugby league or PDRL was created and had its first world cup in 2022 PDRL World Cup to coincide with the rescheduled 2021 Rugby League World Cup competitions.
