We’re used to The Equalizer kicking off our Sunday nights of drama. What’s going on tonight? Is a new episode airing on Sunday, Oct. 30?
We are certainly confused with what’s going on with the CBS schedule at the moment. The Equalizer isn’t going to air a new episode tonight.
why is the equalizer not on tonight?
That wouldn’t be all that confusing if it wasn’t for the fact that East New York and NCIS: Los Angeles will still get new episodes tonight.
What’s going on? It’s really not clear, but East New York is being pushed forward an hour to take The Equalizer‘s time slot for the night. This will give us a chance to see how the new cop drama stands on its own without a big show leading it in.
When will The Equalizer Season 3, Episode 5 air?
How long will we need to wait for a new episode? It’s going to be a couple of weeks. Instead of coming back a week later, a new episode of FBI Season 5 is going to air in the 8 p.m. ET/PT time slot instead. This is likely to make up for the series airing the postponed Season 4 finale after a few weeks into the fifth season.
why is the equalizer not on tonight?
We do at least have a return date. The Equalizer Season 3, Episode 5 is going to air on Sunday, Nov. 13. It will be back in the 8 p.m. ET/PT time slot as normal.
Will this affect things for the series? As annoying as it is for us as fans, it’s not a concern for the future of the series. CBS has already renewed the show for Season 4.
Episode 5 is titled “Blowback,” and it will see McCall work with Carter Griffin to ensure a smuggler who is being transferred is done without harm. This smuggler has been detained by the CIA and needs a secure debriefing. Meanwhile, Dante needs to deal with the fact that his father could be released from prison.
